DESCRIPCIÓN DE LA UNIDAD DIDACTICA
Esta Unidad está dedicada a la presentación del tiempo atmosférico y las estaciones del año como elementos del medio físico.
Seasons and weather esta diseñada para impartirse a alumnos de 2º de Educacion primaria y pretende desarrollara las competencias con ayuda de los instrumentos y recursos de aprendizaje, llevando a cabo una evaluacion eficaz.
Es importante que los alumnos conozcan las caracteristicas de cada estación del año, como es el clima atendiendo a la estación, así como los cambios atmsféricos a lo largo del año que definen las cuatro estaciones del años.

4. Contextual (cultural) element. |
This unit is aimed for 2nd grade course. Pupils will be encouraged to know the weather and some words about diferents seasons of the year. His knowledge on the subject is obvious, since they are in a rural setting and are surrounded them. This topics are included in ours environment and in ours lives, so it will be easy as it occurs will be carried out through an active experience , manipulation and direct observation. In this D.U. students develop some attitudes: To be cooperative, tolerant and respectful to the colleagues when the pupils are doing an individual or collective activity. Showing interest in discovering another language and culture. |

7. Methodology |
Organization and class distribution / timing This unit will be developed in 8 -10 class sessions, depending on the pupilsprevious knowledge and learning pace. The diferent activities designed in this didactic unit isbeen prepared to workin classroom with pupils in diferent way. We carried out different types of grouping: individual, small group and large group. All this taking into account the needs, the pace and characteristics of students. These activities promote the pupils oarticipation in class, since they are attractive to them, using plenty of visual aid which helps them to understand what they are asked to do.

8. Evaluation (criteria and instruments) |
Initial evaluation to find out their previous knowledge. Continuous assessment and observation of students performance in class activities and tasks (attitude, behaviour and participation in pairs, group activities and oral debates, completion of worksheets and assignments). 30% of the final grade. Final project: taking active part in the group project and assessing the final product in which students should put into practice the contents and skills learned in the unit . 40% of the final grade. Argumentative essay: Students will be asked to research, organize ideas and use critical thinking to write an essay about the influence of advertising on society and individuals. 30% Students will also use rubrics for self-assessment and to evaluate the relevance of the unit both in the content area and in their personal development.

Una unidad muy interesante, ya que forma parte de la realidad cercana del alumnado, además trata muchos contenidos a través de una gran variedad de recursos.
