Introducción:

Con esta unidad didactica se pretende que los alumnos de 1º en el área de science amplien sus conocimientos sobre los animales, aprendiendo aspectos muy variados, como pueden ser la clasificación de los animales atendiendo a su habitat o a su alimentación. Todo ello de una forma lúdica y con variedad de actividades, usando la L2 y alternando la lengua materna cuando sea necersario.

Objetivos

Observar los animales domesticos y aprender sus nombres

Observar los animales salvajes y aprender sus nombres

Observar las relaciones entre los animales y su habitat

Observar las semejanzas y diferencias entre los animales

Observar diferentes animales y clasificarlos segun su alimentación.

Entender las diferencias entre seres vivos y seres inertes.

Animales domesticos y animales salvajes.

Animales carnivoros, herbivoros y omnivoros.

Seres vivos y seres inertes.

Vocabulario

Animales salvajes: tigre, leon, elefante, cebra, jirafa, mono

Animales de la granja: vaca, cerdo, oveja, caballo, gallina

Habitat: de tierra, de agua, en la granja, en el aire

Adjetivos: salvae, domestico, grande, feroz, pequeño, vivo, inerte

Verbos: caminar, saltar, nadar, volar, reptar, correr

Actividades

-Observe in an image the living things

-Write the name of the living things they already know

-Read the characteristics of living things.

-Read a text about what animals eat

-Observe in an image where animals live

-Wild and domestic animals

-We have to color the living things they see in a group of things, animals, people and plants.

-Then they have to writhe the name of the living things they know

-In pairs they have to tick the characteristics of living things.

-Other activity is listening to a test about what animals eat and later they will read it running their finger under the words as they listen to it again.

-Afterwards they will read and match with the whole class some animals and their way of eating.

-Put the pictures in order: they will work in groups to make decisions together.

-Read a text about domestic and wild animal and after that they will classify some animals.

-Play is it a domestic animal?

We mix together the flashcards of the domestic animals with the wild ones. Then I show the flashcards to the pupils one by one and asking questions such as is a horse a domestic animal? And so on.

 

Metodologia

La metodologia será flexible. Para la introduccion del tema partiremos de los conocimientos previos que ya tienen los alumnos sobre los animales y el vocabulario que ellos ya saben en inglés. Las actividades son variadas, utilizaremos canciones, flashcards, vidios relaccionados, juegos y actividades donde tengan que tranbajar por parejas y equipos.

Evaluación

La evaluación se llevará a cabo mediante la observacion diaria del allumno, el trabajo en su cuaderno o fichas de clase, su participacion en las actividades propuestas y su motivación.

Estandares de aprendizaje

Identificar y nombrar 6 animales de la granja.

Identificar y nombrar 6 animales salvajes.

Identificar y distinguir los seres vivos de los inertes.

Reconocer y nombrar los animales segun su alimentacion.
