HOW OUR BODYS WORKS

TAREA7-MARÍACRISTINAMORALESRODRÍGUEZ.           

·         SUBJECT: SCIENCE.

·         TITLE OF THE UNIT: HOW OUR BODYS WORKS.

·         COURSE/LEVEL:5TH GRADE.

1.    GENERAL GOALS:

·         To grasp the defintion of nutrition.

·         To name the systems involved in nutrition.

·         To be able to explain the process of digestion, respiration, circulation and excretion.

·         To understand how the systems are linked.

·         To recognize good and bad habits to take care of our own body.

·         To be aware of the importance oj a healthy life style to keep our organs fit.

-       EVALUATION CRITERIA:

·         To identify the main parts and to locate some organs involved in the achievement of the vital functions of the body.

·         To  Know the functioning of the human body.

·         To relate certain life practices to the suitable functioning of the body.

2.    MATTER CONTENT:

-       The human body and its functioning.

-       Vital functions.

-       Health and illness.

-       Healthy habits.

-       Advances of the science.

-       The first help.

-       Identity and personal autonomy.

-       The relation with the others.

-       Equality between men and women.

3.    CONTENT OF LANGUAJE/COMMUNICATION:

-       VOCABULARY: anatomy and physiology, aparatosy systems, function of relation, of nutrition and of reproduction, illnesses, conducts, the first help, alcohol and drugs, identity and autonomy.

-       YOUR STRUCTURE:

·         ROUTINES: we will use questions for helped us to receise the contents. For example, why do we eat?, why do we move?, do we know our body?, do you go in for any sport?, why?.

·         CONTENT: the gramar that the will use is going to be the following one: human body being, vital functions, health and illness, habits, the first help.

·         CLASROOM MANAGEMENT: expressions for the handing of the class, as for example; - small good morning, let´s being, spending list!, let's revise what we gave the previous day!, to end!, can anybody do a summary to me?.

·         TYPES OF SPEECH: the pupils will learn the specific language of every matter and will work with proper types of speech of the science, emphasizing that the fluency is more important than the grammatical and linguistic precision in general, for the narrative speech it develops in the activities of this unit.

·         LINGUISTIC WORKMANSHIP.
The Didactic Unit presents as more outstanding like writting, reading, speaking and listening; across definitions, and narration of to process.

 

4. CONTEXT (CULTURAL ELEMENT):
The development of this didactic unit, we will carry out it in a Public School of Infantile and Primary Education of a locality with nearly six thousand inhabitants. It is provided with a population who dedicates most of the same ones to the agriculture and cattle, at an upper intermediate social, economic and cultural level, since as the place in which it is it has a very attractive cultural environment. The school center is of difficult performance therefore it will be necessary a few adaptations curriculares of the activity for the good and entire performance of the same one.

 

5. COGNITIVE PROCESSES (TO ANALYZE AND TO SYNTHESIZE): to determine if the pupils have reached some workmanship:

·          It Identifies and indicates the parts of the body.

·          He Analyzes the functions of the systems of the human body.

·          It Synthesizes the healthy habits for a healthy life.

·          The man and the woman Differentiates the parts of the body between.

a) TASKS:
- To do a mural with the parts of the body (skeleton, muscles).
- To draw the habits that it realizes the pupils every day.
b) ACTIVITIES:
- To indicate the parts of the body (skeletons and muscles) in a body of real size.
- He chats on healthy feeding.

 

7. METHODOLOGY:
- ORGANIZATION AND DISTRIBUTION IN THE CLASS / TIME:
The present didactic unit will be carried out across the organization of the same one on parts, first we will explain to them the parts of the body (muscles and skeletons) and the functions that it realizes; next, we will give the healthy habits, and, like that to be able to realize it by means of joint activities.
To emphasize that for those who should need adaptations curriculares additional cards will be given them, this way to be able to carry out its development just as the rest of partners.
We will carry out this unit for two weeks, approximately four hours.
- RESOURCES:
For the development of the unit we will use visual, as well as interactive resources as they are: virtual platform on sciences activities, the textbook, cardboards, cards, glues and felt-tips.

 

8. EVALUATION (CRITERIA AND INSTRUMENTS):
- CRITERIA:
* It Identifies and locates the main organs involved in the achievement of the vital functions of the body. It identifies and describes its characteristics and its functions.
* He Recognizes healthy life styles. It identifies, values and adopts them.
* It Knows and explains the beginning of the diets.
* He Recognizes the effects of the consumption of alcohol and drugs.
* It Knows and uses skills of the first help.
- INSTRUMENTS: to be able to know if the proposed targets have reached, we will be able to verify it across data analysis skills, by means of the development of a written test of the given contents, and, along its application by means of the observation of the evolution of the pupils.

  2. Hola María Cristina, una unidad AICLE estupenda, muy desarrollada y clara para poder trabajar con los niños las partes del cuerpo en L2.
