Reading Comprehension. Little Red riding Hood.
LITTLE RED RIDING HOOD
Once upon a time there was a little girl. Her mother bought her a red cloak. She liked the red cloak so much that she wore it wherever she went. For this reason everybody called her Little Red Riding Hood.
kjhOne day "Little Red Riding Hood" shouted her mother."Your grandmother is still ill.Get dressed and take these cookies to her."
Little Red Riding Hood got got dressed, wore her red cloak. Her mother said "Do not leave the footpath on Bunny Forest.Go straight to your grandmother's house."
"OK.I won't mum" she replied and left.
She went into the Bunny Forest, took a few steps and suddenly a wolf jumped out of a bush and stood in front of her.She was so frightened that she nearly dropped her basket full of cookies. The wolf didn't seem hostile though."Where are you going little girl?" he asked."I'm going to my grandmother's house at the end of the Bunny Forest. She is not well these days.By the way my name is not "little girl".It's Little Red Riding Hood." she replied."I'm sorry I didn't know.Let me run and tell your grandmother that you are coming.Don't fool around much and be late." said the wolf and ran away. There was a woodcutter in the forest. The wolf was very afraid of him and he didn't want to be seen by him.He followed a shortcut to the granny's house and knocked at the door. "Whose that?" asked the old woman. "It's me,Little Red Riding Hood" relied the wolf changing his voice. "I brought you some cookies from mum." he added.
"The door is open.Come in then." shouted the granny and the wolf jumped in hastily. He was so hungry that he ate the granny without even chewing her.
A short while later Little Red Riding Hood arrived and knocked at the door.
"Who's that?" shouted the wolf in a soft voice. "It's me,Little Red Riding Hood" she replied. "The door is open. Please come in." he said.
Little Red Riding Hood hesitated for a while."How strange is my granny's voice?" she thought. Then she remembered that she was ill and she opened the door and went in.
The wolf was lying in the bed in the old woman's clothes and glasses and he hid himself well under the granny's blanket."Leave what you have in your hand on the table and come here" he said. She left the basket , but she didn't approach much to the granny because she looked so different. She started questioning her. "What long arms you have, granny" said Little Red Riding Hood.
"The better to hug you,my dear" replied the wolf.
"What big ears you have, granny" said Little Red Riding Hood.
"The better to hear you,my princess" replied the wolf.
"What big eyes you have, granny" said Little Red Riding Hood.
"But granny, what sharp and big teeth you have" said Little Red Riding Hood.
"The better to eat you, dear" shouted the wolf and jumped out of the bed.He attacked Little Red Riding Hood and swallowed her at once.He felt very sleepy and fall asleep in a few minutes.
The woodcutter was passing by the house when he heard some strange noise coming from the granny's house. The wolf was snoring loudly. He looked in through the window and recognized the wolf.He entered the house , hold the bad wolf tightly and made him throw up what he ate.Luckily the grandmother and Little Red Riding Hood was alive and in one piece. They thanked the woodcutter and gave him some cookies.Little Red Riding Hood promised she would never talk to strangers again.
