MY BODY

Subjec: Self-Knowledge

 Course: 2nd course of Infant School

This unit  planned  for 6 lessons.

 

Learning outcomes / Evaluation criteria

To learn the names of most important parts of the body.

To identify The five senses.

To know the most importance healthy lifestyle habits

Sessions:

1st session: Body parts 1

First  we start the class with the routines.

Second we will learn with flashcards  the basic parts of the face : head, nose, ears, hair ,mouth, eyes, tongue, teeth…

Then we will play to identificate in their faces the new vocabulary.

Also they  will listen, dance and learn  songs about the face parts.

And finally we will do a worksheet in which they will color the face parts.

 

Grammar: What is this? This is …., Where is your …? Could you touch your…?

Have you got…? Yes, I have/ No, I haven't

 

2nd session: Body parts 2

 

First  we start the class with the routines.

Second we will review the vocabulary of the first and sesion and we will learn with flashcards  the basic parts of body : shoulders,knees,toes, tummy

arms, legs, hands, feet.

We will listen and learn a songs about the body parts.

Then we will play touch yourself  our parts of body when the teacher say each name and we will play with interactive games with the blackboard.

Finally we will do a worksheet with stickers about the body parts.

Have you got…? Yes, I have/ No, I haven't.

  

3rd session: Body parts 3

 

First  we start the class with the routines.

Second we will review the vocabulary  and songs of the first and the second  sesions.

Finally  we will create few murals about the body in small groups.

Have you got…? Yes, I have/ No, I haven't.

 

4rd session: The five senses 1

 

First  we start the class with the routines.

Second we will learn the  vocabulary of five senses.

Then we will play with interactive activities.

Also we will read the book "My five senses" and we will do worksheets  about it.

Have you got…? Yes, I have/ No, I haven't I use my …to…? Can/can't.


5th session: The five sense 2

 

First  we start the class with the routines.

Second we will review the vocabulary of the last and sesion and the body parts.

We will dance and learn diferents songs about the body and the five senses.

Finally we will create a senses box.

 

Grammar: What is this? This is …., I use my …to…? Can/can't.

 

6th session: Healthy lifestyle habits

 

First  we start the class with the routines.

Second we will review all the vocabulary learned and we will learn basic healthy routines like brush your teeth, wash your hands, do exercise, sleep well, eat healthy…

We will watch some videos and songs about it.

Finally we will play to imitate healthy routines.

Have you got…? Yes, I have/ No, I haven't I use my …to…? Can/can't.

Is it healthy or un healthy?
