INTRODUCTION
Soccer is a sport that is presented as an option for practicing physical activity for our young people in their leisure time. It helps physical, mental, social and emotional development of our students. It is also a resource to establish healthy lifestyles from the youth.
With this unit it is also intended that students acquire greater knowledge and responsibility in the sessions by adopting different roles / functions that are present in football.
Apart from that, football is a social and cultural phenomenon. Therefore, in our classes we will encourage reflection and analysis of our students on a social and cultural issue such as the presence of women in that sport.
LEARNING OUTCOMES
- To know the different soccer positions, materials.
- To distinguish the different verb that explain actions in this sport.
- To apply technical and tactical elements in soccer game.
- To describe and analize the social and cultural importance of soccer: the woman in soccer.
- To show attitude respect, help and teamwork.
- To learn new vocabulary in English related to Sport and Physical Activity.
TASKS
- Test to start (initial evaluation).
- Specific activities to warm up in soccer.
- Games, small side games, challenges, practical activity in couples, teammates, and so on.
- Soccer matches to applied the technical and tactical knowledge and rules learnt.
- Activities to know the different roles in this sport (Sport Education Model).
- Reading, analyzing current social problems in soccer. Women in the soccer world.

1st lesson:

2) The Specific warm-up.

2nd- 4th lessons: Activities to acquire skills and ability.
1) Theoric introduction:
2nd lesson: Verbs in football
3th lesson: Rules. Field.
4th lesson: Player positions and formations.
I send them, by edmodo, several flashcards con information related to: actions/verbs in soccer, player positions, formations, and so on.

2) In all sessions we started with: Warm-up (generic and specific exercise).
3) In these three sessions, they will practice the following actions in exercise:
- To pass
- To shoot
- To dribble
- To control the ball
Activities in pairs, in groups. We can make groups with more or less level to help each other.
After that we use small side games such as 2x1, 2x2, 3x3, and so on, with different rules, to acquire tactical skills.
4) Calm down: Stretching exercises (in specific muscles) and relaxing activities.
5) Reflection: What have we learned today?
6) Homework: Read the flashcard to know the different roles and functions in football (they need for the next lesson).

5 and 6th lesson: Sport Education Model. Students responsible for leadership, instruction and performing.
1) Theoric introduction: Functions of the different roles in soccer.
2) Warm-up (generic and specific exercise).
3) Soccer matches. Students will choose between the following roles and asume these functions in the match:
- Player - Captain - Referee - Coach
- Trainer - Score keeper-Statiscian
4) Calm down: Stretching exercises, in specific muscles, and relaxing activities.
5) Reflection: What have we learned today?
7th lesson: Women in a men world.
