UD "TO RHYTHM" (2nd ESO, Physical Education)
This unit has been done for students in their 2nd year of secondary school to improve and/or develop multiple capacities related with the movement: sensory, perceptive, cognitive, coordinating, social, affective, expressive, communicative ... The ability to work these skills through movement, our content, makes our pedagogical discipline acquire value and allow a true integral formation of students.
An important part of body expression, rhythm, and other important capacities such as creativity, imagination, spontaneity, disinhibition, motor memory, sociability, equality, etc., will be worked on in this teaching unit. In addition, we will use the game as a methodological strategy to facilitate learning processes.
It is important to design didactic units related to the corporal expression because the work with these kind of units have to be revalued due to carry with them a great amount of prejudices and sexist stereotypes that undoubtedly have to be eradicated. The learning outcomes that I want to get are:
1. To know or deepen the expressive facet of the body and movement.
2. To represent simple scenes individually and in groups with or without musical background.
3. To create and reproduce through movement, body and objects rhythmic structures.
4. To know and practice rhythm games and simple dances showing a participative and uninhibited attitude.
5. To develop perceptive and expressive abilities by practicing rhythm games.
6. To learn to combine different rhythms and handle different objects in performing expressive activities.
7. To know internet tools to find useful information.
8. To respect the rules of class and coexistence by developing social relationships of respect, equality, tolerance and teamwork.
Regarding language contents and communications that I am going to use are:

Aerobics From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Aerobics is a form of physical exercise that combines rhythmic aerobic exercise with stretching and strength training routines with the goal of improving all elements of fitness (flexibility, muscular strength, and cardio-vascular fitness). It is usually performed to music and may be practiced in a group setting led by an instructor (fitness professional). Formal aerobics classes are divided into different levels of intensity and complexity. A well-balanced aerobics class will have five components: warm-up (5–10 minutes), cardio vascular conditioning (25–30 minutes), muscular strength and conditioning (10–15 minutes), cool-down (5–8 minutes) and stretching and flexibility (5–8 minutes). Aerobics classes may allow participants to select their level of participation according to their fitness level. History Both the term and the specific exercise method were developed by Dr. Kenneth H. Cooper, an exercise physiologist, and Col. Pauline Potts, a physical therapist, both of the United States Air Force. Dr. Cooper, an avowed exercise enthusiast, was personally and professionally puzzled about why some people with excellent muscular strength were still prone to poor performance at tasks such as long-distance running, swimming, and bicycling. He began measuring systematic human performance using a bicycle ergometer, and began measuring sustained performance in terms of a person's ability to use oxygen. In 1968, he published Aerobics, which included exercise programs using running, walking, swimming and bicycling. The book came at a time when increasing weakness and inactivity in the general population was causing a perceived need for increased exercise. Aerobics gained worldwide popularity after the release of Jane Fonda's exercise videos in 1982.
