GRANDPARENTS, SHALL WE PLAY?
This unit is aimed at students in 5th grade of primary education in the area of Physical Education.
Learning the English language (L2) in PE presents difficulties. Their inclusion in EF classes can favor their acquisition using the body and movement as means to educate. We understand the importance of this teaching strategy because the student, motivated to physical activities is disinhibited in the use of another language and he does it with greater fluency in this matter. Also, popular and traditional English games have been selected, very similar to Spanish games, in which the vocabulary, always close to the sports terminology, is easier for students.
The title of the unit is: GRANDPARENTS, SHALL WE PLAY? It deals with traditional and popular games.
With this unit, the following objectives are to be achieved:
• Collect and learn popular and traditional games of English origin.
• Participate in different types of popular and traditional English games by accepting the assigned role within the group
• Respect rules and basic rules of these games, experimenting opposition, collaboration and opposition-collaboration strategies.
• Valuing and respecting the traditional playful manifestations of other countries and / or cultures, as well as the different ways of occupying free time and leisure
• Improve vocabulary related to PE.
Six sessions have been planned, which are the ones detailed below:

Rafael Redondo Ruiz.-
Me parece una unidad muy interesante. Me gusta la idea de sección bilingüe en el área de Educación Física. El post está muy bien explicado, me encata la descripción de cada una de las sesiones.
