Habitats

DU title: Habitats

Course / level: 4th Primary

Subject: Natural Sciences

Habitats is a didactic unit thought to 4th primary, which our children will be able to learn the differents environments and the animals and plants from them. Also they will see the relationships between costumers and decomposers. This didactic unit is settled to be developed within six sessions.

Objectives:

  • To describe what a food chain is.
  • To know the main features of land habitats.
  • To know the main features of water habitats.
  • To recognise what an adaptation is.
  • To describe what populations and communities are.
  • To distinguish between costumers and decomposers / pray and predator
  • To put in practice a food chain in the school environment
  • To experience in different habitats with animals or plants.
